Three generations to help building your dreams

A reference point today for many constructions companies and individuals, Giovanni Pirovano Ltd was founded in the 1940’s. Fruit of the intuition of Mr. Carlo Pirovano who took his first steps in the transportation of earth and other building materials.

In order to offer a valuable service to the residents of Carlazzo and neighbouring towns, the first warehouse was opened a few years later together with the headquarters in Piano Porlezza.

A strong impetus to growth came in the 1970’s when Carlo Pirovano’s son Giovanni joined forces with his father and led Pirovano Ltd. to become a leading company in its field.

The increase of its transport division, together with increase of business with neighbouring Switzerland, goes hand in hand with the expansion of the warehouse which now has become a reference point for the residents and local businesses.

The turning point came in the 1980’s with the construction of the new warehouse in Saint. Agata,

Still in its current present location, the new warehouse was able to house the new offices, a wider range of building materials and tools, a growing transport fleet (vans, trucks and lorries) and modern machineries for construction and carpentry which is now also available for hiring to customers.

The arrival of Giovanni’s sons, Pirovano’s third generation, has given the final touches in organising the structure of the company and has enabled the realization the new exhibition area dedicated to fireplaces, bathrooms, gardening and outdoor.

During 2010 the company has obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008
